This recipe was developed exclusively for Chelan Fresh using their SugarBee™ apples.

1bottle(750 ml) of dry red wine
1 1/2cupsapple cider
1SugarBee™ apple,cored and thinly sliced
1orange, sliced into rounds
4whole star anise pods
1/2 teaspoonwhole cloves
1inchslice of fresh ginger
11 SugarBee™ apple, cored and thinly sliced
Place all mulled wine ingredients into a large pot and bring to a boil. Lower the heat and simmer gently until fragrant, at least 30 minutes. NOTE: the longer the wine simmers, the stronger the spiced flavor will be.
Strain and serve warm with apple slices, pomegranate seeds and a cinnamon stick.
